Kindergarten Kickoff at Valley View!

We are so excited to welcome and officially "sign" our next class of kindergarteners at Valley View!

Join us for our upcoming Kindergarten Kickoff on Tuesday, May 12th, at 4:30 PM, where families will get a sneak peek into what kindergarten is like at Valley View. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about our program and connect with our amazing PTO to learn more about how you can get involved in our school community.

Students will also take part in a special signing ceremony to celebrate the start of their journey as future Foxes. We can’t wait to meet our newest students and welcome you all to Valley View!

Student Voices from Valley View Innovation School

At Valley View Innovation School, curiosity leads the way.

Designed for students ready for advanced and accelerated learning, Valley View is a PK–8 gifted and talented magnet school currently enrolling grades PK–7. Learning is built around deep thinking, creativity, and meaningful challenge.

A defining feature of Valley View is its Immersion Studios, where student questions drive hands-on, project-based learning. Through studios like robotics, technology, culinary arts, art, music, and science, students collaborate, problem-solve, and apply their learning in engaging, real-world ways. Classrooms use a clustering model that allows teachers to extend and differentiate instruction based on students’ readiness and interests.

A school for Gifted, Advanced and Accelerated Learners!

We inspire every student to stay curious, explore their interests, and build a lifelong love of learning. In a welcoming, joyful, and supportive environment, we remove barriers and open doors so each learner can follow a path that’s uniquely their own. Click here to learn more!

Extending Learning in the Culinary Immersion Studio

In Mrs. Bickford's 4th-grade math unit on fractions, students embarked on a practical challenge: baking cookies for the entire school, encompassing 144 students and staff members. This assignment not only honed their mathematical skills in fraction computation and scaling recipes but also provided them with a real-world application of their learning. Utilizing the school's culinary immersion studio, students were fully engaged in this hands-on project, from measuring ingredients to calculating the necessary amounts to serve everyone.
