Kindergarten Signing Day at Valley View!
As we celebrate Mapleton graduating seniors, our preschoolers at Valley View Innovation School had a milestone of their own today — signing their “letters of intent” to officially commit to kindergarten this fall! 
We’re so proud of these future scholars and can’t wait to see them continue their learning journey as Valley View Foxes! 
Extending Learning in the Culinary Immersion Studio
In Mrs. Bickford's 4th-grade math unit on fractions, students embarked on a practical challenge: baking cookies for the entire school, encompassing 144 students and staff members. This assignment not only honed their mathematical skills in fraction computation and scaling recipes but also provided them with a real-world application of their learning. Utilizing the school's culinary immersion studio, students were fully engaged in this hands-on project, from measuring ingredients to calculating the necessary amounts to serve everyone.
